Description
The Cape Town Baptist Seminary is a premier theological learning institution in the Western Cape. It has been in operation for over 40 years. Their motto of “training the head, heart, and hands” has helped them to produce alumni who follow the Christian ethos as much as possible. Part of their vision and mission include following a sound doctrine, a communal expression of gifting, and following the teachings of the Bible.
The campus is completely multicultural and is accessible to students from all walks of life. In September of 2001, the college changed its name from The Baptist Theological College of South Africa, Cape Town to what it is known as now. It provides both distance-learning and contact-based courses for students.
The mission of the seminary is to preach the word of God to the masses. They aim to cultivate Christ-like church leaders who can spread the love and light of the Christian faith. Students are readying themselves for all aspects of ministry life. This includes the ministry of children as well as cross-cultural church-goers.
