Description

The Baptist Theological College of Southern Africa is one of the oldest theological seminaries in South Africa. It was established in 1951 and is still in operation today. It has a strong focus on Biblical interpretation and theology. Their staff strives to maintain a relationship with Christ in all teachings. The teaching model is experiential and collaborative.

Some of the values of this seminary include passion in work, academic excellence, commitment to their evangelical constituency, and innovation in education.  Their classes examine both old and new scriptures to offer a fuller understanding of Christ. Staff are always encouraging students to take part in Bible studies while they are attending courses.

There is access to a variety of student support systems. Students are also taught practical skills to help improve their ministerial practices. Professionally trained staff are continually available for helping students.  The library offers computers and resources to those who might not have any available to them. Making the courses contact-based and distance-learning are encouraging more students to apply to the college.
