The Auckland Park Theological Seminary is a Pentecostal and Charismatic theological seminary based in Johannesburg. It also has campuses in Umtata and Durban. The seminary offers contact classes as well as distance learning qualifications. It was established 60 years ago and is one of the oldest seminaries in the country.
The seminary is focused on offering courses that are Christ-centred and Bible-based. They believe that education can be achieved by including Christian values in all teachings. Lecturers are continually contextualising the courses for African society. This allows students from all walks of life the chance to attend classes. Their vision is to become a leader in providing light and hope to all students.
The courses are both nationally and internationally recognised. Students are provided with intramural activities, seminars, workshops, and on-campus Bible classes. Their approach is holistic and their courses help to train students for their lives outside of studying. There are various opportunities available to students once they have graduated.
